Hey All!!!
I got it now, although I can't make my picture on the header nicely,, so I just gave it up.
well, I'm gonna introduce myself now...
2 years ago, in a humble community of SMAN 3 Malang, a girl named Eki submitted an AFS application after a hard work of filling it up. A billion years after (seriously, that was a long time), she came to the test venue, and did all her best. The first test was about general knowledge like who is the general secretary of the UN and who got an Oscar of best-actress (who cares bout that??), and stuff like that. It was neither easy not hard...
She had nothing to lose, so when she found out that she passed the test and had to do another one, she was excited.
ok, shortly, there were two more test after the second one, not including the awkward home interview. And YAY!!! she made it through!!!
She knew that she's gonna have a terrific experience by joining this exchange program because even before the exchange year started, she already got a bunch of unforgettable experiences, such as:
- Taking a bus from Malang to Jakarta which took 18 hours to get to the test venue that made her butt flattened.
- Had lunch with US general consulate and his cute son, lol
- Got 4 shots on her butt because the application asked her to do so (it hurts man!!)
- Had 3 hours of sleep (or less) each day for a week in the national orientation of AFS student
- Danced like crazy in AFS Farewell Party (it was an AWESOME night!).. especially when her picture (when she was dancing, for sure) showed up in a tabloid the next week ^o^
- Burst in tears when she had the AFS farewell party and none of her parents come to put the "merah-putih' pin on her chest
- Had a surprise farewell party from her classmates ^,^. So, one of her friend invited her to come to his birthday party. It was a normal party, until her friend asked her to come to his room to pick up a good-bye present. Innocently, she just entered the room and approached a box that she thought was a present. Surprisingly, her friend locked the room, and left. when she open a present-like box under the blanket...oh crap! that was a table. For half an hour she waited until her friend's mom opened the door for her and led her downstair. there in the backyards, 30 of her classmates stood in 2 rows singing a good-bye song that they made. Then, she cried...
yeah, those are some unfogettable moments for me...
and I'll continue writing after I pray Ashar!
bye for now ^^
